SILVER CITY SOUL - 2 FILMS FOR NATIONAL GALLERIES SCOTLAND
An innovative community portrait project that searches for the soul of Aberdeen - one of Scotland’s most historic cities.
Film 1 (above) - Through contrasting the intimate with urban vistas I created a portrait of the City of Aberdeen. The film was exhibited at the National Galleries Scotland, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Art Gallery.

Film 2 (above) - A sequence of short vignettes with local volunteers and workers. A counterpoint to the first film, this work puts the voice of Aberdeen to the fore.
